Alex Leonard, o Loli para los más allegados, es hijo del fotógrafo francés Jacques Leonard y la modelo gitana Rosario Amaya. Gran parte de su tiempo lo dedica, junto a su hermano Santi, a difundir y proteger la obra de su padre, conocido como el payo Chac, un legado de más de 30.000 negativos que cuenta parte de la historia de la Barcelona gitana entre los años 40 y 70 del siglo XX.

Alex Leonard, or Loli for the closest ones, is the son of the French photographer Jacques Leonard and the gypsy model Rosario Amaya. Much of his time is spent, along with his brother Santi, to disseminate and protect the work of his father, known as the payo Chac, a legacy of more than 30,000 negatives that tells part of the history of gypsy Barcelona between the years 40 and 70 of the 20th century
